I was honored to be asked to design this year's poster for the Atlanta Rock Poster Show sponsored by The Rock Postersociety and Expresso Beans.
The poster is dedicated to Frank Kozik, who is the reason many of us in the poster industry chose this career. He led the way, and we merrily followed along.
One of my mentors, Robert Venosa, once said, "Being an artist means belonging to a unique, exciting gang of outlaws." No truer statement exists to describe being a part of an art movement I have watched explode over the past three decades, much in part due to Kozik paving the way.
We miss you Frank.
