Linus: Every Easter the Easter Beagle comes dancing along with his basket full of eggs, which he hands out to all the good little children.
Sally: That sounds faintly familiar. I remember sitting out in a stupid pumpkin patch all night waiting for The Great Pumpkin to come. That was the worst night of my life.
Linus: But this is different. That was Halloween. This is Easter.

Easter indeed, Linus! Dark Hall Mansion, www.DarkHallMansion.com, is most excited to reveal our officially licensed 2014 Peanuts print for Charles M. Schulz's 1974 classic, “It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown.” On sale next Tues, April 8th, 2014, at a random time between 9:30 AM PST and 11:30 AM PST and arriving to Easter egg hunts everywhere.

Dark Hall Mansion's artist for this year's "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" is the exceedingly gifted Jayson Weidel who has created two fantastic pieces, including what's probably Dark Hall Mansion's most intricate Peanuts print to date. His Standard edition "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" is an amazing Easter egg eye candy treat, complete with multiple sections and all anchored by a brilliant Easter egg framework that sets off everything from Charles Schulz's wonderful Easter bunnies to the most amazing '70s pad anyone could hope for! We've been obsessed with Woodstock's digs for quite some time now and we finally had the opportunity to showcase it within a print, and showcase it Jayson did! Who doesn't want to ease into Woodstock's stepdown living room, put on some headphones, and just relax and enjoy the artwork on those walls!

Lucy: This is going to be the greatest Easter Egg Hunt ever, and I'm going to find them all!

Sally: See? Linus was right. There is an Easter Beagle.
Lucy: Some Easter Beagle! He gave me my own egg!

Well, maybe to you Lucy, but this particularly charming Easter Beagle had quite a few Easter eggs to hand out to other kids and Jayson's made sure this moment was captured in all its Schulz'ian splendor and pathos. His artwork's lower tableau is a cross section of unbridled delight, hope, a small check to Lucy on life's balance, and sheer confirmation of the power of belief for one very faithful blanket toting child. We LOVE Jayson's rendering of Linus's expression on seeing that Easter Beagle with basket and eggs a flying!

Peppermint Patty: Now look, kid: these eggs are not to be fried. Nor are they to be roasted, toasted, or waffled.
Marcie: Yes, sir.
Peppermint Patty: These eggs have to be boiled. You boil them, then I'll show you how to paint them.
Marcie: Yes, sir. I'll boil them, sir, then you'll paint them.

Marcie: [frying the first batch of eggs] Uh, sir, how do we color the eggs after we've fried them?
Peppermint Patty: Agh, agh, agh... Aaaugh!

Well, Jayson didn't fry any eggs but he certainly knows a thing or two about painting them. If there wasn't enough Easter egg goodness in his Standard edition print, how about a Variant edition that's an Easter basket filled to the brim with Snoopy love. And a pretty amazing Snoopy at that, along with a very grateful little Woodstock aiming to catch one of his Easter Beagle buddy's eggs in midair, plus a little peeking Schulz Easter bunny for good measure.
