Linus van Pelt: Every Easter the Easter Beagle comes dancing along with his basket full of eggs, which he hands out to all the good little children.
Sally Brown: That sounds faintly familiar. I remember sitting out in a stupid pumpkin patch all night waiting for The Great Pumpkin to come. That was the worst night of my life.
Linus van Pelt: But this is different. That was Halloween. This is Easter.

That's right Sally! Easter it is and Linus was right! There IS an Easter Beagle!!

Dark Hall Mansion,, has been asked for this print more than once so we are most excited to finally reveal our first print ever for Charles Schulz' 1974 classic, "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown!"

Our Officially licensed, limited edition Peanuts prints for "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown!" go on sale next Friday, March 15, 2013 at 9:30 AM PST.

Linus van Pelt: You'll see. The Easter Beagle won't let us down.
Sally Brown: I know he won't, but how about you?

Linus would never do that Sally, and either would Tom Whalen! Tom's
latest is pure Spring full color eye candy, much Snoopy, and all Easter.
There's a lot of story there as Tom captures segments lyrically with
his incomparable touch; from the gang's various reactions to Charlie's
pensive expression of hope and faith reflecting the true importance of
Easter's meaning. You'll also notice Charlie's expression and placement
near Mr. Schulz' credit, an elegant touch. Then there's Lucy's more,
well, reserved judgment..

Sally Brown: See? Linus was right. There IS an Easter Beagle.
Lucy van Pelt: Some Easter Beagle! He gave me my own egg!

OK Lucy, did we mention Snoopy?! LOTS of Snoopy!! Tom beautifully renders one of THE most famous Snoopy segments in Peanuts history as the Easter Beagle is the very embodiment of unrestrained joy delivering Easter eggs with pure happiness and unabashed delight. Snoopy's expression as he gazes into the Sugar egg with a wink at his audience is surpassed only by its linking scene where he quite literally lands within his own Sugar egg reality with a squeal of delight to dance among a circle of most welcoming Easter bunny friends. Hard for us not to smile every time we looked at this poster and we hope you'll feel the same!

Peppermint Patty: Now look, kid: these eggs are NOT to be fried. Nor are they to be roasted, toasted, or waffled.
Marcie: Yes, sir.
Peppermint Patty: These eggs have to be boiled. You boil them, then I'll show you how to paint them.
Marcie: Yes, sir. I'll boil them, sir, then you'll paint them.

And paint them Tom did! Tom dipped his Variant into a pastel bath of pure
Easter egg coloring goodness bringing yet another color palette to bear in
complimenting his previous Peanuts classics for Dark Hall Mansion.

So don't miss out on adding what's quite possibly THE happiest Peanuts print we've ever released and quite simply one of Tom Whalen's absolute best.
