"This book is a collection of misprints from the poster work of Jay Ryan, made during the 2008 calendar year. All images and text were drawn by Jay and most were printed at the new birdmachine shop in Skokie, Illinois, by Sara Parker and Jay. These prints didn't make it out of the shop due to poor registration, a change in color choice, torn paper, footprints, thumbprints, or simple overrun. Sara (and Jay) cut the posters and assembled the signatures for this book, which was bound by Tedra Ashley-W. and Chris Hohn at Lincoln Bookbindery in Urbana, Illinois, in an edition of 30 similar (but not identical) books, during late winter 2009."
