It was a great pleasure to draw the face on the Charlotte show for the final tour of Dead and Company.
This is my homage to Stanley Mouse and his Weirdo Cars, a staple of my childhood while hanging at the local dragstrip. Only much later in High School did I understand that he was the artist who moved to SF and became an icon in the psychedelic art movement in the late 60s and master of 70s album cover art.
He later inadvertently launched my poster career and collaborated with me on several projects. Life travels in circles. It's surely has been a long strange trip.
This was a fun piece to do! Hope you all like it.
