Ever since Shem and Mr Doodle met at HG in 2016, the artists have talked about a collaboration together, and finally they spent a day this April fusing their styles under a railway bridge in Shoreditch. After a few hours jamming on paper they decided to go for an oldskool NY mash up with the title Rock Paper Wizards which stuck for reasons nobody can remember.
Mr Doodle says, “I really enjoyed working with my good friend Shem on this mural collaboration. Then when the Hoxton Gallery asked to reproduce it for the Art Car Book Fair, I was more than happy to donate my share to the Ben Raemers Foundation”.
