Unique silkscreen variants on shaped panel
Sun up / Sun down is our third collaboration with Greg Bogin. Utilizing visual vocabulary borrowed from vernacular source material including cycling paraphernalia and street signage, Bogin successfully captures, synthesizes, and presents an intangible through his personal brand of minimal abstraction: universal optimism. His iconic shaped-canvases play with form by refusing rigidity, instead expanding, contracting, and bubbling into their final amoebic shapes. His signature color palette similarly defies boundaries by focusing on neon gradients that seamlessly melt into one another, evoking the mesmerizing glow found in the soft hum of computer graphics or airbrushed beach-town sunsets. The happy results inform Bogin's ongoing exploration of color and form, which harnesses visual communication in its purest and most joyful manifestation
