Print and Pin Set.

The Woodcutter emerges from the forest in his first-ever appearance. He is a distant cousin to the peasant boy Kinjiro, who escaped poverty and transcended class divisions in the late Edo period through diligent self-education to become a renowned agricultural reformer, philosopher, and economist. However, the Woodcutter's bundle of firewood is infused with magic and superstition. He longs to return to nature, to be absorbed by the moss, and dissolve within a mycelium shroud.
