From the artist, Tom Whalen: "one month from today, my new 2-man show with dave perillo will open at gallery 1988 east.
“modern vintage†will celebrate the head-on collision of some of our favorite modern films/television with our passion for vintage graphics and themes.
shown here is the first image reveal from the show, “gotham libraryâ€, which is an homage to the amazing WPA posters of the late ’30s and early ’40s.
