I know everyone says that their favorite Dracula is Bela Lugosi, but I'm without a doubt more partial to the Hammer productions, Christopher Lee Dracula. You definitely have to give mad props to Universal and Bela Lugosi for developing the iconic look but love the darkness and grit that Lee brought to the character. No longer was Dracula a smooth talking ladies man but a terrifying creature with blood stained eyes and an unquenchable thirst for human life. This is far more terrifying!
Christopher Lee's Dracula was the inspiration for my latest block print. This a two color print on "Blood Red" French card stock. Each print measures 8.5 x 11 printed with custom mixed water base block inks.
