Oh, the magic of a sold out show...waiting an hour for a beer, sweaty scenesters rubbing their stinky scenester bodies against yours as they crawl toward the bathroom. Totally fun. Perhaps that is why we typically don't do posters for bands as big as The Strokes. There were also a lot of fancy folks at the show with super expensive t-shirts on, and there seemed to be a lot of shirts with stripes on them. Why all the stripes? Are we missing out on something? ANYWAY, both bands did a fine job and it's always nice to hear a large group of people singing along to songs they love.
