""Talking to Daniel": I was going to try to do this as a straight Calvin and Hobbes depiction. Daniel Danger reminds me of a large sized Calvin (not a grown up Calvin). However, I’m no Hobbes. Oddly enough one of Daniel’s best friends, Swifty, is pretty close. When they’re together it feels like Swifty is some imaginary friend come to life “Drop Dead Fred†style. So when I look at this rendering, I see Daniel wearing Swifty’s skin as a suit and having a great time.
Side note, my favorite thing Daniel’s ever spoken about is his Kennedy assassination musical with animals in the human roles titled “JFK Pandaâ€." -- Rob Jones
