"“Talking with Jasonâ€: You ever watch a story where there’s an alternate reality with the same folks in it, like the “Mirror Mirror†universe in Star Trek. Usually a character won’t be the full Bizarro opposite of their counterpart in the other reality. In Trek, both Spocks excel in science and service to the ship, but one has a goatee and is a bit more of a S.O.B. I feel like @jasonedmistonart is my counterpart in the Canadian mirror universe, which means I’m in the goatee S.O.B. reality. More than most folks I speak with, we have a lot in common like an unhealthy appreciation of KISS or a Depression era concern about money saved away in case we lose our eyes and hands in a threshing accident. However where Jason spends limitless time studying his craft and learning technique, I’m reading a book about about the Spanish Inquisition or all the horrible things Genghis Khan did.
