When bands together for a side project, you can always expect something fun and unusual. So when Matt Berninger from The National and Brent Knopf from Menomena teamed up for a new band called EL VY, I knew I had to put together something slightly out of the ordinary for them. I decided it would be fun to play with the rockstar mythos by creating a pair of Greek busts for the rockstars, sharing a playlist on an iPhone. The band loved the image enough that they used it for their first tour poster, in America as well as Europe.
